The History of Inglis & Retrotec Cycles

• 1968: born
• 1985: First bike shop job
• 1986: Fired from first bike shop job
• 1986.5: Hired back to same bike shop job
• 1987: joined Air Force, traveled the world, o yeah, learned to weld
• 1992: Bought first mountain bike, Diamondback Apex, you know the one, the blue and black one
• 1993: Graduated from the University of Southern Napa (the JC) and went towork for Bob at Retrotec in Chico, CA
• 1995: Moved to San Francisco with Jeremy and Jay Sycip
• 1996: Launched Inglis Cycles and continued building Retrotecs when someone called to order one
• Present Day: I’ ve been building bikes for 18 years, sometimes part-time, sometimes full-time. Wouldn’ t want it any other way.
